What a goddess and an all-time hottie!

How about the curvaceous Sophia Loren in stockings for Throw-Back Thursday? What a goddess and an all-time hottie!

Sophia Loren’s impressive curves and classic taste in clothing make her a timeless beauty, a style icon  and an irrefutable image of femininity. Her impressive curves made every man fall in love with her and every woman want to be her. I love the way that she was constantly dressed in beautiful and flattering shapes which emphasized her minute waist and impressive décolletage.

Here she is in the Millionairess, the 1960 British romantic comedy film set in London, directed by Anthony Asquith and also starring Peter Sellers. This clip shows her undressing for her doctor. I adore the hat and the corset.  And check out that wiggle!

Sophia: “You’re rude and insufferable. But you inspire confidence, as a doctor. Examine me; thoroughly.

Peter: “Madam, if I examined all the ladies in whom I inspire confidence, I should be exhausted.”

And how about this strip tease…………I mean really, come on, how on earth can you fall asleep?

While shapeless models are idolised over hourglass curves in todays world, there is absolutely no denying Sophia Loren stands out in a league of her own.  Many designers still use her style as inspiration for their creations, drawing back to how her shape and poise projected the ideal femme fatale.

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” ― Sophia Loren
