Hosiery Economics

Apparently there is a direct relation between rising sales in hosiery and a falling financial market.  When the economy struggles women indulge in small $10-$20 purchases.  This used to be called the ‘Lipstick Index’ but apparently the ‘Hos…iery Index’ is the new economic theory with women opting to update last year’s wardrobe with inexpensive patterned pantyhose, tights and stockings.
Who would have thought that hosiery could be used for economic theory?!?!
